We caught this train in downtown Anderson on 01/16/2012. I thought I would have a chance to reshoot this shot with me scooting over to my right some. I'd still get the building in the shot, but also more of the train. However, the crew was just finishing up switching out the interchange with NS and was leaving now.

Our downtown area isn't that busy during the week, and I love the quietness that enveloped the heart of our smallish city last night. This shot was taken looking up the street toward our historic courthouse. It was a bit chilly, so the customers of the always awesome Mellow Mushroom pizzeria wisely passed on the al fresco dining - hence, the empty metal chairs. Brr!

Still not great at composing handheld with a TLR. This is the angle I wanted, I just don't like where the edges of the frame intersect the scene. I could probably fix this with a little photoshop tilt-shift and a vertical crop.

Deserted old building, 122 1/2 N. Main St. Anderson, SC.. Being in here is like being in another time and another place. I can just see the men in their Stetson fedoras coming up the stairs to speak to their lawyers. Your imagination can take over from here. Add to this story if you wish.
