This Hallmark home in Belmont, CA is one of the first homes you see when you drive into the neighborhood. Hallmark is one of Belmont's best neighborhoods to tour Christmas lights. The combination of little/no traffic and the number of decorated homes is ideal. The sign at the entrance to Twin Pines Park in Belmont. The property has a park, walking trail, Belmont History Room, Creekside Studios, Twin Pines Art Center and several City of Belmont buildings. Belmont residents can rent out the facilities for parties and events of all sizes at bargain prices.

The Vans Restaurant, located at 815 Belmont Avenue in Belmont, CA is one of the few Continental Cuisine Restaurants in Belmont. The Van's is the restaurant on the hill and one of Belmont's most iconic spots.

The Beli Deli in Belmont is one of Belmont's deli's. They're open for breakfast and lunch through the week. I like to get food there and walk across to Twin Pines Park to have a picnic. The Beli Deli is located at 1301 6th Avenue in Belmont.

Totos Pizza near where the new Firehouse Square Development will be built, is one of Belmont's Pizza Restaurants. I'd have to say it's the best pizza in Belmont and Yelpers seem to agree giving it 4/5 stars. It is located at 1250 El Camino Real in Belmont. (650) 631-8686

Lunardi's Grocery Store located in Belmont's Carlmont Shopping Center is one of the few local grocers left in San Mateo County. I like to go there for meat (since they are a butcher shop) if I don't want the quantity that Costco carries or if I want to make hamburgers. They grind their own Ground Chuck and it makes great burgers. Often times it's even on sale for $2.99/lb.

The Little Belmont Cafe at 232 Harbor Blvd in Belmont, CA is one of Belmont's few breakfast spots. It's been a while since I've eaten there, so I'll have to go back and report on the food. Yelpers give it 3.5/5 stars.

Water Dog Lake Park, which is getting some much needed improvements in 2010, is one of Belmont's hiking trails. You can enter it through the Hallmark or Carlmont neighborhoods of Belmont.

Carlmont Scots mural on the side of the gymnasium building. Carlmont High School is located in Belmont CA, with one building in San Carlos. Carlmont serves Belmont and San Carlos high school aged kids.
