The Aerostars starting their night performance at Fort Smith AR last fall.
The aircraft are Yak 52 TWs developed by the Yakovlev Design Bureau and built by SC Aerostar SA, a Romanian aerospace manufacturer (hence the group's name).
I remember the first time I saw a Yak 52 taxi in. It freaked me out for a bit, I knew something was different but couldn't figure out what until he shut down. The engine runs in reverse to what I am used to......
