While we were up visiting my parents, in Wisconsin, we went to one of my favorite places in Minocqua, Jim Peck's Wildwood. While in the park, we heard a loud roar that cannot be mistaken. The caretakers were cleaning the tiger cage and had put the white Bengal Tiger in with the other tiger. Every time the white one would get near the other, it would snarl, hiss and growl. Apparently they were not the best of friends. Definitely would not want to have this tiger angry at me.
I entered this photo into the Annual Sandwich Fair in Sandwich, IL. There were over 3,200 entries spanning about 60 categories. I just found out the news, this photo won Best Overall in Competition and First Place for Animals: Wild Animals!

Pier
This pier was right near my hotel here in Minocqua. Not much to photograph today because the weather was pretty crummy. It was pretty cloudy and rainy and there was a bit of a mist on the lakes around here...hopefully tomorrow will be a bit better...
