While driving home from the farm on Hwy. 30 I was on the look out for Great Blue Herons which sometimes hang out in the farmers' fields. I passed one field and when I glanced over saw a coyote hunting--probably for field mice and other rodents and was very close to the highway. I had to go a little further before I could turn around. By the time I got back the coyote was nearly on the other side of the field. He/she was still hunting and frolicking, but a great distance away. I used my 75-300 telephoto lens and took a few shots. Then I just enjoyed watching. Only this shot turned out clear enough to do anything with.

This little dude was perfect in this car. You can almost see the wind blowing through his fur now even the car wasn't moving.
