The Saskatoon Club became the setting for the first episode of a series of 13 tv edutainment shows. Mayor Don Atchison and Chef Anthony McCarthy met to discuss the menu and where to source their options from 17 local producers or organic foods from Saskatchewan. In the film we visit the Cactus Lake Organic farm of Sheldon and Gerry Scheck who also sit at the meal discussing their experience with marketing their Highland Beef to a local market. Comments from the Mayor and guests highlight the flavour, variety and preparation of the foods sourced in Saskatchewan. Chef Anthony, a most gracious host chef sets a fast pace for the next chefs to follow. |

My sermon preached at The Metropolitan Community Church in New Haven, CT. It was based on Exodus 34:28-35, which reads:When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the Testimony in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD. When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant, and they were afraid to come near him. But Moses called to them; so Aaron and all the leaders of the community came back to him, and he spoke to them. Afterward all the Israelites came near him, and he gave them all the commands the LORD had given him on Mount Sinai. When Moses finished speaking to them, he put a veil over his face. But whenever he entered the LORD's presence to speak with him, he removed the veil until he came out. And when he came out and told the Israelites what he had been commanded, they saw that his face was radiant. Then Moses would put the veil back over his face until he went in to speak with the LORD. |

This is my first effort at designing and editing a movie. I hope you enjoy it. The movie was produced on a MacBook Air, using iMovie. All of these world-class paddling venues, except for Ucluelet and Barkley Sound, are within about 3 km of my home! This area has it all for a sea kayaker: large waves, 5 to 7 knot currents, tidal bores/races, wicked wind, and coastal indentations (including surge channels) to play in. |
